Shipping Policy
1. Delivery Areas
We currently deliver to [list areas, e.g., Dunbar, East Lothian, and surrounding regions]. Enter your postcode during checkout to confirm eligibility. We reserve the right to restrict delivery to certain areas.
2. Delivery Schedule
- Weekly Deliveries: We offer weekly deliveries on Tuesdays to Fridays. Your delivery day will be assigned based on your location and confirmed in your order.
- Delivery Windows: Deliveries are made between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. We will notify you of a more specific window via email/SMS on the morning of delivery.
3. Delivery Process
- Same-Day Harvest: All produce is harvested on the day of delivery to ensure freshness.
- Packaging: Items are packed in eco-friendly, insulated boxes to protect against temperature changes during transit.
- Delivery Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email/SMS once your order is delivered.
4. Delivery Instructions
- Safe Drop-Off: If you are unavailable, specify a safe location (e.g., “Leave by the back door”) during checkout. We are not liable for items stolen or damaged after delivery to a safe location.
- Redelivery: If no safe location is provided and delivery is unsuccessful, we will attempt redelivery the next business day. A redelivery fee of £5 may apply for repeated missed deliveries.
5. Shipping Costs
- Delivery Fees: Fees vary by location and order size, as follows:
- Orders over £30: Free delivery (within eligible areas).
- Orders under £30: £3.99 delivery fee.
- Remote Areas: Additional fees may apply to remote locations.
6. International Shipping
We do not currently offer international shipping. All deliveries are within the UK.
7. Freshness Upon Arrival
While we take steps to ensure freshness, we recommend refrigerating perishable items immediately upon delivery. If you have concerns about freshness, contact us within 24 hours as per our Returns & Exchanges policy.
8. Order Tracking
You can track your delivery status via a link in your shipping confirmation email, which will be sent on the morning of your delivery day.
9. Changes to Delivery
- Reschedule: To reschedule delivery, contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled day.
- Address Changes: Update your delivery address via your account or by emailing us at least 24 hours before delivery. Late changes may not be processed.
